		How do export or import employee data? 
			
			
			Data about employees can be 
			exported out of or imported into Optimum. 
			  
			
			Exporting data out of Optimum 
				
				
				Select 
				Import/Export Employee Data from the menu.
				
				Select the Export radio button.
				
				Select the tables that you want to export. If 
				you want to export all the tables, tick the All box. The 
				full list of tables will be highlighted.
				
				Complete the From Date and To Date
				boxes to specify the date range that you want to be covered 
				by the export. You can use the drop-down calendars to select 
				these dates.
				
				If you want to email the data directly to the 
				Optimum Support team, tick the Email box.
				
				Click Export. The file will be 
				exported to the directory listed in the File Location 
				field, which has been specified on the System Settings page. 
				
				If the export is successful, 
				you will receive a message telling you which tables have been 
				exported. 
			Importing data 
			into Optimum 
				
				
				Select Import/Export 
				Employee Data from the menu.
				
				Select the Import radio button
				
				Select the tables that you want to import. If 
				you want to import data into all the tables, tick the All 
				box. The full list of tables will be highlighted. 
				
				
				Caution! When data is imported into Optimum, it will 
				overwrite any data that already exists in the table. 
				
				
				Click Import. If the import is 
				successful, you will receive a message telling you which tables 
				have been imported.
